The Space Cafe is my idea of what a diner would be in the middle of space. I would like to explore what the staff and patrons would be like, fun menu items and stories. Idealy I would love to have it setup in a way that different diner staff and patrons will appear depending on the time. You would get use to seeing your favorite cook or waiter/waitress, you reconginze familar faces and try to see rare to see guests. For now, I just work on what I can, build the diner, aquire the staff and introduce patrons overtime. I have plenty of ideas cooking, while I have some experiance with HTML/CSS, I like to expand on that and dive more into JavaScript as well. This is somewhat of a creative project for me in the guise of learning a new skill and hopefully expand more into the "Indie Web" or something like that.

The Space Cafe also comes from my love of greasy spoon diners and being a regular at my local 24/7 diner in my teenage years. Despite no longer living near a greasy spoon I often reminisce of late nights grabbing a hashbrown bowl and coffee when I couldn't sleep. If I can't get that experience now, might as well create it myself. I often come up with ideas or stories in my head and I never really write them down or do anything with them other than world build for a couple of days or weeks and then move onto the next new idea. While I won't be writing a book, screenplay or game anytime soon I can make a silly website and have some sort of creative outlet.

Anyways, I hope you enjoy your time at the Space Cafe and until it's open I hope you enjoy these early days of the project
